Purpose: Shorten a bedtime that keeps stretching, and get some of your night back.

When to use: Use this when bedtime starts early and somehow still ends late.

Worksheet prompts

  1. List every step of bedtime, in the order it happens now.
  2. Where does it stall? Circle that step above and write what happens there.
  3. By the time they are asleep, how much of your evening is left?
  4. What is one step you could cut or shorten tonight?
  5. What do you want the last two minutes with them to be like?

The last two minutes are the ones they keep. The rest can be shorter.
